Why We Exist

Real Indian Food. For Indians Working Away From Home.

There are millions of Indians living and working away from home: in the bachelor housing of the Gulf, the office towers of Singapore, the student hostels of Toronto, the corner-shop neighbourhoods of London. Most of them eat food they don't want to eat, every single day.

The choices they get are unfair. Cheap food that isn't good for them, or good food they can't afford. A shawarma rolled in foil. A packet of dry noodles. A cold roti from yesterday. Almost never a real Indian meal.

We built Wholicius to fix that. A real Indian meal, dal makhani, rajma chawal, khichadi, poha, built so that anyone with a kettle and five minutes can eat it tonight. Priced so they can eat it tomorrow night too. And the night after. We're an export-first food company because the people we cook for don't live in India anymore. We hold the certifications, run the manufacturing, ship the containers, and answer the phones, because you can't feed people daily without first being a serious operator.

We Don't Ship Water

Freeze-drying removes the water, so the same dal makhani that weighs 300g in retort weighs a fraction in our format. Less weight per unit means lower fuel consumption, fewer shipments, and reduced carbon emissions across the supply chain. Add an 18-month shelf life with no artificial preservatives, no added colours, and clean-label ingredients throughout, and you get a format that's built to reduce waste at every stage.
